Vzdělávání a poradenství začínajícím podnikatelům prostřednictvím sítě SBC / Traininig and Guidance for Starting-up Entrepreneurs by Start Business Centres´Networks

Project was implemented within the framework of Comunity Initiative EQUAL. Project was financed byl European Union and Ministry of Labour a Social Affairs of Czech Republic.

Goals:

Our project is aimed at strenghtening the process of selfemployment and new small and medium companies creation. The support is to help especially those, who are looking for employment or those, who are threatened by the long term unemployment.
Moravskoslezský self-govering region belongs to the regions with the highet unemployment rate. The alternative for the unemployed is either creating one´s own company or selfemployment. Howeve, beginning the entrepreneurship is a complicated process and the new entrepreneurs come across many barriers, which cause their high "mortality". There is a lack of assisted consulting instruments, which would be available for all. That is why our project is aimed at starting-up entrepreneurs as well.

Transnational partners:

It is one the conditions of EQUAL iniciative, that there should be a partnership with at least two other DPs from the EU countries, which deal with similar subjects. Our development partnership has signed a transnational cooperation agreement with developmet partnerships from Italy, France and Portugal.

The main value added of international cooperation will be not only gaining of the new ideas and exchange of ideas, information or exchange of experts, but also promotion of the region and town of Třinec.

The project duration is 27 months and it will be realised in the whole Moravian-Silesian region. During this period of time, in each district of the region there will created a Start Business Centre (SBC), with trained experts, who will be providing consulting and training services to those interested in starting up the entrepreneurship. The SBC will cooperate with the entrepreneur at least for one year, so that he would be able to cope with the problems, which usually show up during this period of time.
The project experts will cooperate on developing new progresive training methods and new motivattional programs, mapping the situation in the region and creation of the database of the entrepreneurial opportunities in the region, etc., so that the beneficiary groups would be prepared for their future business activities. This would subsequently lead to the increase of the employability of the beneficiary groups in case they do not decide to start their own business.
